I was born and raised in Argentina and moved to the United States with my husband almost a decade ago. Away from home, I found a new home in my studio, surrounded by nature. Close to the ocean my three kids were born, blessed by a life full of art and Nature.
My series of emotional landscapes “Ways of flying” is about a personal search. Is about the deep process of leaving my home. Sometimes I think myself as a migratory bird. I wonder how these birds feel. Why do they travel? What do they leave behind? What do they find on the other side of the horizon? Could it be possible that the immense sky belongs to them? In this infinite scenario I recognize myself, I spread my wings, and I start to paint. Fleeting perspectives crossing indefinite skies. Small ecosystems of rhythm and color throbbing earthly spaces. Once again nature as a living example of abundance, with its own cycles and purposes.
On the last years, the ocean is spreading inside my work. I am floating, intuitively among deep blues and bright greens. This series is about transformation, is a reborn. There is something sacred about water. I immerse myself in the rhythms of the tide, its constant movement, and its mesmerizing reflections. A deep breath, a pause, connecting with the senses, closing eyes under the water, hearing the silence from the ocean while being aware of being hold by the water.
