ABOUT THE ARTIST

Vig Mayol is an Argentinean Mix Media artist, born and raised in Buenos Aires (1987) currently based in Sarasota, Florida, United States.

She discovered her talent for painting when she was very young and she pursued her passion since then. She majored in Visual Arts at the University of Arts in Buenos Aires. Currently represented by State of the Arts Gallery in Sarasota, Palm Beach artist collective, Grabatta Gallery in Miami and Gallery500 in Daytona Beach.

After winning the first place at Art Battle live painting competition twice, Art Battle Sarasota in 2020 and Art Battle Daytona 2022, Vig was invited to compete at the Regional Florida Art Battle State Championship earning the second place. In 2023, she became finalist at the United States National Art Battle Championship representing Florida.
